We wanted to make a creative & colourful clear gin, with a versatile juniper backbone.

Drawing inspiration from classical still life portraits of fruit bowls, one of the most commonly painted objects in history, Distiller Quentin started playing with a creative recipe based around fruit & flowers.

He quickly learnt that fresh fruit is very challenging to work with, which is why they are rarely used. After much trial and error, he settled on a recipe with peach and green apple, combined with rose and lavender. The resulting gin is simply beautiful.

Husk Farm Distillery lies in a highly artistic community in Northern NSW where the art scene is a backbone of the community. With our first crystal-clear gin we suddenly had a blank canvas on the back of each bottle, so it seemed natural to feature Australian artists on the label!
